I'm interested in learning Japanese, but Vernon doesn't have any courses available.
I'm curious: do any of you have experience with distance education or online courses in languages? If so, did you find that it was a viable way to learn a new language? I'm hesitant to sign up for one of these because I'm not sure how effective learning a language through distance/online is.
Any thoughts?
