What, no comments on the Wii? None at all?

I for one enjoyed this quote:

"Because, it's really not about you or me. It's about Wii. And together, Wii will change everything."

Lots to say on my end about Wii. I wasn't sure what the crew interest was in Wii, so I didn't post. Apparently I underestimated it.

I've been reading a lot on Wii lately. My first reaction on the name was shock in neither a good or bad way, but the name's certainly grown on me. I actually really like the little opening video as well. It makes sense, considering that Wii is trying to market itself towards non-gamers. I do hope, however, that they don't add "Wii" to every Wii game, like Super Mario Wii or Mario Kart Wii, for example.

Lots of stuff about Wii is going to be revealed starting next Tuesday at E3. Online Smash Bros is pretty much a given though, and likely a launch title.

I'd say more, but I have to go meet Jenn downtown.

I.... Ok, I'll admit, I hadn't thought of the Super Mario Wii. I had gotten used to the name before you brought their potential naming conventions up! Now I'm going back to making urine jokes in my head again.

Maybe they can shorten it. Call it Super Mario W, or something.

At least Wario Wii has the benefit of alliteration.

A columnist from Time Magazine has had a first-hand experience with the Wii controller. I have to say, it does sound pretty exciting.

A trailer for the new Smash Bros.

OK, that's got to be my favorite video from E3 so far.

I love how they all go through texture upgrades and when its Kirby's turn he looks around and nothing has changed. He is pure pink, and it cannot be improved upon.

I myself am looking forward to the wii, as my gamecube has up and died, and would hate t buy another one before the wii comes out.

Another new Smash Bros trailer has come out. No new major revelations, but it does show some actual in-game play.
