Lemon Loaf
Ingredients
- 1/2 c margarine
- 1 c white sugar
- 1 1/2 c flour
- rind of 1 lemon
- pinch salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1/2 c milk
Directions
- Cream margarine and sugar.
- Add eggs and rind of lemon.
- Mix in dry ingredients alternately with milk (ending with dry).
- Bake at 350 for 45 - 60 min
- Mix juice of lemon with 1/4 c sugar. Spoon over loaf while hot.
