Brussel Sprouts Sauce
Ingredients
- 2T lemon juice
- 1T buttery spread
- 1T olive oil
- 1t lemon rind
- 1t sugar
- 2 cloves garlic
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Green onion (optional)
- toasted almonds (optional)
Directions
- Combine all but last two ingredients in a saucepan on medium heat. Boil until thick enough to coat the back of a spoon, about 2 minutes.
- Toss in lightly cooked brussel sprouts, coat well, and heat through.
- Top with green onion and almonds, and serve.
